Mission
Addison County Community Action Group, doing business as HOPE, is a non-profit poverty relief organization serving more than 3,000 low income people in Addison County, Vermont every year. Our mission is to improve the lives of low income people in our community by working with them to identify and secure the tools and resources they need to meet their own basic needs. HOPE operates the largest food shelf in the county; provides assistance for homeless individuals; and provides assistance with housing, heat, utilities, medical needs and more. HOPE also operates a large resale store that generates profits in support of our poverty relief programs.
