Little Longears Miniature Donkey Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit charity dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and safe sanctuary of abused, neglected or otherwise unwanted donkeys. We also provide a safe haven for owners to surrender their donkeys in the event they are no longer able to care for them.

State Street Players Theater Company

Mission

The County Seat Players (formerly State Street Players) organization is a family-oriented, community-spirited theatrical band of brothers and sisters dedicated to the performing arts. ​ Since 1978, our annual musical comedy review has employed the talents of our volunteer group. Every year our staff of amateur writers, musicians and performers works hand-in-hand with our production crew of costume and set designers, sound and lighting technicians, and hospitality and publicity managers to create a show. We rehearse in January and February, and perform during the first two weekends of March. Our multi-talented people then support the players on stage by working in music, sound, on the spotlights or behind the theater stage to produce total performances. The County Seat Players take pride in always welcoming cast and crew not only from our own area but also from throughout the community. In a continuation of our purpose, each year our organization awards scholarships in the field of performing arts to outstanding students in their senior year in community high schools.

The Wardrobe is a nonprofit social enterprise that uses clothing to inspire change. The Wardrobe believes clothing shouldn't be a barrier to success and works to eliminate clothing insecurity. Like food and housing insecurity, clothing insecurity is real and limits opportunity. Clothing insecurity can mean not having anything to wear or not having the right thing to wear. After leaving The Wardrobe, clients shine from the inside out with clothing that helps them fit in with their peer group or make a great impression during their job search.
