Cribs For Kids Provides Infant Safe Sleep Education Through Preventive Programming, Support Of Research, Safe Sleeping Environments For Those In Need And Bereavement Support Services To Families Who Experienced The Loss Of An Infant Due To Sids Or Other Sleep Related Death.

Safe Sleep Resources- The "Cribs for Kids" campaign donated 1,433 Cribette playards and pack and play cribs to needy families in Allegheny County and surrounding counties in Western Pennsylvania. 516 pack and plays and sheets as well as other infant safe sleep items were donated to weather and fire disaster areas in the southern United States and western United States. In addition 10,238 playard cribs and additional safe sleep items were provided in Pennsylvania through 158 partner organizations along with safe sleep and SIDS reduction education. In conjunction with partners in 46 other states an additional 65,181 cribs were provided to needy families along with additional safe sleep items and safe sleep education. The program supports the Federal "Back to Sleep" campaign and PA Act 73 of 2010 which mandates Infant Sleep Education to mothers giving birth in Pennsylvania.
