Mission

Rooted in God's love and care, EUMA provides life-changing opportunities for those who live at the margins of homelessness to become vital members of our community. We accomplish this task by providing those in our community who are homeless and in need with safe shelter, basic necessities, and faithful support as they work toward achieving their greatest potential.

EUMA's Rapid Re-housing My Way Home Program - RRH is administered by EUMA. EUMA staff work with any population through two Erie County contracts called My Way Home and Independence. Through these staff find housing, pay for housing and help those experiencing a housing crisis stay in their housing. EUMA does this by providing first months rent and deposit, short to mid-term rental subsidy based on need and case management services to help keep the newly housed in their home. EUMAs My Way Home program served 398 individuals including 189 adults and 209 children in a total of 152 households. 70% of households were positively discharged they remained permanently housed after the subsidy and case management services ended. EUMAs Independence program served 51 individuals in the same number of households. 50% were positively discharged from the program half of those who entered the program remained permanently housed after the subsidy and case management services ended.
