Founded in 1983, Action for Animals Humane Society provides shelter and medical care to abandoned, abused and stray dogs and cats of Westmoreland County, PA. We adopt animals into responsible homes and vigorously promote the spaying and neutering of all pets to eliminate the cruelty of animal overpopulation. AFA keeps animals free from the threat of unwarranted euthanasia and work closely with the local Red Cross as an animal disaster first response team.
