By donating on this page you are making an irrevocable contribution to Daffy Charitable Fund, a 501(c)(3) public charity, and a subsequent donation recommendation to the charity listed above, subject to our Member Agreement. Contributions are generally eligible for a charitable tax-deduction and a yearly consolidated receipt will be provided by Daffy. Processing fees may be applied and will reduce the value available to send to the end charity. The recipient organizations have not provided permission for this listing and have not reviewed the content.
Donations to organizations are distributed as soon as the donation is approved and the funds are available. In the rare event that Daffy is unable to fulfill the donation request to this charity, you will be notified and given the opportunity to choose another charity. This may occur if the charity is unresponsive or if the charity is no longer in good standing with regulatory authorities.
More about this organization
Mission
Paws New England rescues abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs from high-kill shelters and desperate situations, provides them with veterinary care and much needed TLC, and brings them to New England where we place them in safe, loving homes.
About
In 2014 completed 692 adoptions. All homes were thoroughly screened via adoption applications and home visits. All adoptions were completed with adoption contracts clearly stating the expectations of our organization. Adopters are armed with designated volunteers in the organization to approach with any challenges that arise. Our website has a designated resource section to help with common behavioral and medical issues. If significant challenges occur, Paws will always take back the dog to ensure that our over-burdened shelter system is not further stressed by animals that are Paws alumni. Our organization also has close ties with some of the most successful trainers in New England who have aided many of our adoptive homes that are struggling with behavioral challenges. Paws New England prides itself for maintaining a relationship with our adoptive families that begins the day of the adoption and lasts the length of the adoptive dog's life.
