The Greater Ohio Policy Center (GOPC) held a successful summit, that provided educational and networking opportunities to 275+ leaders from across the state. GOPC continued to facilitate policy development and peer-learning among Ohio's small legacy cities and launched, with the National Resource Network, a competitive program that is providing technical assistance to several economically distressed communities in Ohio. GOPC joined with other groups to successfully call for increased funding for Ohio's public transit, and made strong progress in reforming regulations around brownfield remediation. GOPC quantified the economic impact of 10 housing groups across the state and analyzed the housing market in Springfield, Ohio. Lastly, GOPC received the prestigious William J. Graves Ohio Housing Excellence Award from the Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing and Ohio Housing Finance Agency.
