Exhibitions have traveled to New York, Washington DC, and Williamsburg as well as to other locations within the city of Boston. They have highlighted such important subjects as the revolutionary and civil war periods, 19th and 20th-century immigration, voting patterns and rights, women's roles in cartography, mapping of climate patterns, and urban green spaces. Audiences of upwards of 60,000 attend each gallery exhibition, including area residents, tourists, researchers, students and teachers. Our recent exhibition on immigration in Boston was presented in the Boston Public Library's public corridor and later traveled to Boston City Hall. It was viewed by an estimated 250,000 visitors in total.
