To assist in the further development and participation by Moffat County boys and girls in 4-H club work. To create a fund to be used for educational purposes and activities in which 4-H members are engaged and for which funds appropriated by congress of the United States, the Colorado General Assembly and the Board of Commissioners of Moffat County are not available.

About

The Moffat County 4-H Foundation was able to provide College scholarships for students continuing their education in a college/university. Along with this the 4-H Foundation provided funding to approximately 30 4-H members to attend eight educational conferences throughout the year. In addition, we provided funding for 12 High School students to attend the National FFA Convention, which provides these students with four days of educational programs. Also, we provided the funding for 40 younger 4-H members to attend a District Retreat. This program enables these younger members to begin their leadership skills. The Foundation provided the funding for the Motivational Speaker for the 4-H Awards program. The community was invited to this program. There were approximately 400 people in attendance. The 4-H Foundation also provides funding for educational programs and activities throughout the County Fair which serves all 4-H members and the community of Moffat County. There are approximately 4000 individuals who attend the county fair throughout the week.
