Artist awards are designed to recognize artistic excellence, promote dedication to an artistic discipline, and provide encouragement for further professional development.
About
Nineteen artists were awarded 55,500 in grants for Artistic Excellence. Jury consists of arts professionals, academics, and artists in the categories of Visual, Performing, Literary, Dance, Media/Film, Classical Singing and Theatre Set and Costume Design. Bexar County residents are judged on the artistic excellence of their submitted art work/performances along with a proposed project.
