To create economic mobility for individuals impacted by gender, racial, social, and/or economic inequality. We seek to expand job skills, entrepreneurship, connections, and life-changing opportunities for New York City's immigrant women and women of color.

About

In 2018, Hot Bread Kitchen's culinary workforce development program provided 96 low-income women four weeks of intensive culinary fundamentals training and supportive professional development. Of which, 69 women successfully completed the fundamentals and received three months of paid on-the-job training with our employment partners. For the period, 56 women graduated from our rigorous training curriculum and were placed in full-time culinary or bakery jobs with access to benefits.
