About
In 2018 alone the neacac served many children in northeast Arkansas and all received specialized services. The child abuse experts at the neacac provided mandated reporter training, prevention training, and other related child abuse and child sex trafficking training to large groups of educational professions, community leaders, caregivers and area groups/organizations free of charge. All children were offered trauma focused mental health therapy regardless of their ability to pay thanks to midsouth health systems, life strategies inc (lsci) and other caring mental health agencies in northeast Arkansas. Over 4,900 reports were accepted by the child abuse hotline for our coverage area alone to be investigated by the Arkansas state police crimes against children division.
