About
The 'Wisconsin Thunder' program is a team-based wheelchair basketball program for men and women, ages 19-55 who are affected by physical disabilities. The Thunder serves 12+ individuals with physical disabilities that range from spinal cord injuries to spina bifida, amputation to ambulatory disabilities. As a Division II, NWBA (National Wheelchair Basketball Association) affiliated team, the Thunder travels across the Midwest and the country to participating in wheelchair basketball tournaments and games, giving our athletes an opportunity to be fit, active, healthy and to engage in positive social interactions.
