Mission
OUR MISSION We partner with highly influential yet under-resourced Christian leaders globally to equip and multiply Biblically mature leaders for every area of community life. 4 CORE VALUES DEVELOPING WORLD FOCUS ELI is committed to serving Christian leaders who have had little formal training, resources, or prospect of attaining either. Therefore, we focus our ministry in developing world nations, typically in the global south. FOSTERING RELATIONAL RESPECT ELI recognizes that God has been building his Church long before our arrival in a particular country. About
During 2019, ELI fielded 23 faculty instructors, 24 US based volunteer instructors, and over 80 national instructors whom we have equipped over the last 11 years. This team of instructors had the priviledge of standing before and teaching over 9,800 Christian leaders in 20 of the most impoverished nations in the world. These Christian leaders have a direct influence on over 2 million people. In January we opened ELI Senegal and later ELI Mali. In March, we re-opened ELI-Nigeria with a new national director who is a part of the Langham Expository Preaching Network. In July, 5 faculty members partnered with two gifted nationals to begin training partnerships with 5 new movement leaders in Kenya and Tanzania. In the meantime, God brought us 4 new faculty members that gives us a total of 33 and a half dozen more on the horizon. We also launched ELI Diaspora Ministries here in the states.
