Medworks mission is to provide a collaborative portal for every patient who needs quality healthcare and access to permanent medical homes in Northeast Ohio.

About

In 2018, Medworks provided 1,738 patients with 7,706 services. At the August vision clinic, Medworks served more than 200 patients with free vision exams and delivered 180 free prescription eyeglasses. At the November dental clinic, Medworks provided free dental services to more than 950 patients, including screenings, cleanings, x-rays, fillings, extractions, temporary partials, and cleanings for adults, and sealants for children. In addition, Medworks held clinics at the J. Glen Smith Health Center, Neighborhood Family Practice, Stephanie Tubbs Jones Health Center, and the Homeless Stand Down, providing general medical exams, women's health exams, mammograms, dental exams, dental extractions, podiatry, bloodwork, HIV testing, and free 30-day prescription fulfillment. In September 2018, Medworks integrated CHAP into our services to provide assistance with health insurance coverage. From September through December 2018, CHAP assisted 725 people with navigation and connection services, at Medworks clinics and at other locations, such as the Cuyahoga County Justice Center and Lorain County Health & Dentistry.
