Homeownership SF provides housing education and resources for affordable rental housing, first time homebuyers, and current homeowners in San Francisco. With support and coordination from Homeownership SF, our members collectively provided first time homebuyer education, including Below Market Rate (BMR) property information to 3,831 individuals; financial services and education to 5,309 individuals; post purchase support and foreclosure prevention counseling for 71 home owners and 86 people attended workshops for homeowners. We assisted 742 households with submitting applications for below market rate ownership opportunities. For rental housing, Homeownership SF coordinated drop in rental clinics that were attended by 992 individuals. These services were provided in 4 languages, which are English, Spanish, Chinese, and Filipino. Our website continued to provide the latest housing related news, program updates, and foreclosure prevention information, with links and referrals to affordable housing service providers in San Francisco.
