Scars opened up a second office in Mustang OK which is located in the easter portion of Canadian County. Whereas our office in El Reno provides mostly assessments and classes for court ordered offenders, our Mustang office provides individual and family counseling for children, adolescents and audlts. Like the two programs mentiuoned in 4a and 4b above, these clinical counseling services are also provided by licensed behavioral health practicioners. In 2016, we provided counseling services to children and adults. Scars is one of the only behavioral health organizations in Oklahoma that utilizes an onc certified electronic health record that meets the requirements for meaningful use medical record-keeping. Our ehr system integrates with a nationally known claims clearinghouse that allows us to seamlessly bill and accept reimbursements from medicaid and private insurers.
