Mission
The purpose of the organization shall be to conduct various actitvities and grant-making functions, including, but not limited to, organization of exhibition basketball games for the benefit of charity, operation of youth athletic camps, organization of charitable sporting events such as charity golf tournaments, making grants to charitable athletic institutions and making grants for various charitable athletic and educational purposes.

The accumulation of funds received by the two special events (youth basketball camp and the golf tournament) in addition to a contribution from maurice williams, allowed the maurice "mo" williams foundation to achieve one of its primary exempt purposes of making grants to charitable athletic institutions. the foundation was also able to gather enough funds to donate a considerable sum to various charitable organizations.
