American Friends Musée d’Orsay (AFMO) is an American 501(c)(3) dedicated to raising public awareness and financial support for the Musée d’Orsay and its sister institution the Musée de l’Orangerie. AFMO supports the museums' acquisitions, collection conservation, special exhibitions, education programs, and capital improvements.

The American Friends of the Musee D'orsay is operated exclusively for charitable, educational, and cultural purposes. The American Friends of the Musee D'orsay will strengthen the relationship between the Musee D'orsay, Paris, France, and the American public, by soliciting funds to support specified programs and projects. Patrons of American Friends of the Musee D'orsay support the museum's newly enhanced exhibition program, education, conservation of the collection and the modernizing of its galleries. Our members support cultural enrichment for the museums' more than four million annual visitors from around the world.
