About
We have become fully functioning in our temporary Brooklyn location. We have annual exhibits, and our archive has grown immensely with hundreds of thousands of artifacts and documents. Also, our education department has continued a school visits program that includes continuous visits by school groups to our exhibits and workshops. Several thousand children are anticipated to visit this school year which is a sharp increase from the previous year. We have also hosted several communal programs and exhibits that have drawn crowds of hundreds of attendees. General attendance is expected to double as more schools are showing interest than ever before. Community centers, senior centers and synagogues have also approached us to curate exhibits and events for their communities and areas. There is also an arts and literacy contest that reaches thousands and has over a thousand entries from schools nationwide.
