Mission
The purpose of the Galion Youth Football organization is to provide education to the youth in the central Ohio area about the rules, technique, strategies, and sportsmanship involved with amateur sports.
About
The program provided opportunity for many children of various ages to experience playing organized football against children of the same age from other towns in the surrounding area. The children were instructed in the basics of football and sportsmanship. Additionally, there was opportunity given for children to partake in a cheerleading function for the organization. These children were instructed in cheerleading basics and took part in activities giving support to their team. The cheerleading squads are divided up based on age also. Achievements in amateur sports also includes learning to accept defeat in a sportsman like manner.
