About
The University of Chicago grant: Taking Effective Action Inc (TEA) provided education to African Americans in Washington DC, Prince George Cty MD and beyond about cardiovascular health, pharmacogenomics, precision medicine, and African American involvement in medical research. TEA used a video it produced on pharmacogenomics at the sessions. TEA distributed the video as a tutorial available online & through social media to increase its reach and access to the target audience. TEA also provided training to leaders in churches and other organizations using a train-the-trainer method.
