The corporation engages in music therapy for individuals with disabilities, educating persons in the field of music therapy working with individuals with disabilities, community outreach for individuals with disabilities and their families, and research to promote music therapy.
About
Provided over 12,000 music therapy opportunities in 2018. Logged over 2500 volunteer hours in 2018. Maintained contracts in 2018 with City of Chandler, Town of Gilbert, City of Tempe and several private schools and organizations. Community partnership was further developed in 2018 through grants from Tempe Diablos, City of Tempe, Trends Charitable Fund, Thunderbird Charities, Rotary Club of Tempe Downtown and various individual donations including the qualifying charitable organization tax credit. The organization was awarded the top honor of 'Spirit of Tempe' by the mayor of Tempe at the 30th annual Mayor's Disability Awards in 2018.
