We are a team of software developers, public policy wonks, and civic organizers building the tools needed to upgrade the infrastructure of our democracy. Our vision is straightforward: make voting a simple, seamless experience for all Americans so that no one misses an election.

TurboVote and Labs: TurboVote provides an online service to help every American vote in every election - local, state, and national. TurboVote tracks elections in the US and sends users text and email reminders about how and when to vote. It helps users get registered, apply for an absentee ballot, or simply receive information about when and where to vote on election day. In 2018, TurboVote election reminders reached more than 6 million active subscribers. In addition, our partnerships with major tech platforms, as well as hundreds of corporations, nonprofits, and universities, contributed to record high midterm turnout. Democracy Works Labs is our in-house innovation arm that aims to improve the quality of voter engagement tools and thus build a foundation to strengthen the entire field of voter engagement technology.
