Hispanic Access Foundation (HAF) connects Latinos with partners and opportunities improving lives and creating an equitable society. Through innovative programs that build capacity, strategic communications and advocacy, we build long lasting relationships and networks that are rooted in communities. Conservation program - this program harnesses the Latino community's passion for public lands and the outdoors to increase their capacity to engage in the conservation of land and water in order to ensure good health and well being for generations to come. Por la creacion faith-based alliance engaged youth, families and communities throughout the west in conservation projects and outdoor experiences to educate and build leadership in conservation and to improve public health. Latino leaders collaborated to protect national monuments, the land and water conservation fund and the Colorado River. The HAF initiative Latino Conservation Week was held in July engaging 180 partners in over 150 community events nationwide. Additionally, HAF screened its film 'Land, Water y Comunidad' in multiple states across the country.
