Youth education & training program. The Jefferson Parish Workforce Investment Board funds Louisiana Green Corps youth construction and conservation corps. This program engages 18 to 21 year old Jefferson and Orleans Parish residents and prepares them for employment of post-secondary education through an intensive sixteen week program of academics, supportive services, life skills training, construction certification training and hands on service learning opportunities. During the 2018-2019 fiscal year this program operated 3 sessions, serving a total of 64 participants.
