Mission

FCCSP provides bilingual, culturally-responsive behavioral health therapy to a diverse community in the city of Wilmington and surrounding areas. We primarily work with some of the most vulnerable individuals and families in our community, predominantly Latin American immigrants and their families with low incomes and limited access to quality behavioral health care. FCCSP envisions a community where every individual has the opportunity to improve their quality of life without facing linguistic, financial, and stigmatic barriers to access care.

About

Client-centered & community-focused bilingual (Spanish-speaking), culturally-responsive outpatient mental and behavioral health counseling & case management. Proactive community outreach and engagement to 'meet people where they are (at schools, primary care facilities, clients' homes) to ensure healthcare equity, accessibility, and affordability. Trauma-informed care with a focus on serving victims of crime/violence, many who are minorities, lack insurance or who are under-insured. Building the 'workforce pipeline' via clinical training & supervision to help address the critical & severe shortage of licensed, bilingual, and culturally responsive therapists in Delaware.
