Child Bridge finds and equips foster and adoptive families for children who have suffered abuse or neglect.

About

Recruiting foster/adoptive families. More than 3,000 children across Montana have been removed from their biological homes due to abuse or neglect. Child Bridge recruits' families from local faith communities to care for these children, whether their need is temporary (foster care) or permanent (adoption). In 2019, Child Bridge recruited 170 new families and helped them navigate the state's training and licensing process. In 2019, the state placed 534 children in the care of a Child Bridge family. Since 2011, the state has placed more than 1,400 children in the care of a Child Bridge family. In 2019, 45 of these children were adopted, bringing the total to 142 since 2011.
