About this organization
Mission
The mission of Casa is to provide a well-trained, supported, and motivated advocate for every child in the county foster care system.
About
Casa for Kids, Inc. provides guardian ad litem (GAL) services to every child in Flathead County's foster care system and covers the new children in Lincoln County's foster care system. In 2019, 108 advocates served 304 children in Flathead. In January, we held the first Casa pre-service training class in Lincoln County. This resulted in 13 trained advocates. The inaugural class served a total of 33 children. These Casa GALs advocate for the best interest of the children and often serve as their voice in court. The advocates work to ensure that the children they serve receive counseling, educational support, enrichment opportunities, material support, etc. to make sure the children have the best chance to heal and thrive. We work to help children find their voice and empower them to become stronger, healthier individuals.
