Mission
The Campaign for Southern Equality (CSE) is based in Asheville, North Carolina, and works across the South to promote full LGBTQ equality – both legal and lived. Our work is rooted in commitments to equity in race, gender and class.
About
Southern Equality Fund: In 2019, we distributed more than $80,000 through 155 grassroots grants across 13 Southern states, supporting LGBTQ organizers in the early stages of their work. We also offered leadership development trainings to more than 50 grassroots organizers.
