To provide the seeds of opportunity to Kenya through two avenues 1) seeking funding for humanitarian/development projects, for example, bringing clean water to communities through the distribution of Uzima clean water filters and focusing on the education of children. Clean water is a key initiative of humanitarian projects. Drinking unsafe water is a major contributor to disease and death within Kenya. Through a grant agreement, SWOI grants funds to Start with One Kenya ('SWOK') for projects that focus on clean water. SWOK had mission teams conduct training sessions on good hygiene practices and the importance of using and drinking clean water. For FYE 30 September 2019, 7,500+ Uzima clean water filters were distributed by SWOK in the Kibazi area of Kenya and in FYE 30 September 2018 another 15,000+ Uzima clean water filters were distributed by SWOK in the Rongai area and another 8,000+ Uzima filters in FYE 30 September 2017 and 13,000+ Uzima filters in FYE 30 September 2016.
