About
Tampa Bay Wave opened the firstwave venture center in downtown Tampa. Billed as the region's front door or center of gravity for the tech community, the venture center is an open innovation space designed to connect local entrepreneurs with many of the resources they need to build, launch and grow great tech-based companies here in Tampa Bay. The venture center provides educational and networking events, expert advice via scheduled office hours, as well as flexible coworking options including some with affordable, dedicated office space. Already boasting roughly 1,000 unique visits each month in terms of coworkers and event attendees, the venture center is also the region's largest concentration of tech startups with thirty 30 early stage tech companies currently calling the firstwave venture center 'home'.
