Mission
NYBC specializes in the rescue and care of pit bulls. We work tirelessly every day to rehabilitate and find loving homes for the animals we take under our care.
About
New York Bully Crew (NYBC) with the help of 35 number of volunteers had rescued approximately 2164 dogs from inception (2010) with approximately 564 alone in 2015. We were able to place approximately 81 of the dogs in their forever homes alone in 2016. We work with several organizations including but not limited to: Hempstead Animal Shelter, Brookhaven Animal Shelter, and several NYC ASPCA precincts. In late 2015, we were fortunate to open up a second shelter in Staten Island, New York to help assist in our cause. Additionally, we sponsor a foster care program that provides an opportunity to care for puppies that are not old enough to be adopted. This is an alternative for dog lovers who cannot make a long-term commitment to a rescue, but still wants to help the animals we serve.
