Restoration and sustainability: supplied expertise and active project management that designs and delivers resilient, sustainable features and new revenue sources to fund maintenance in order to transform all 770 acres of the National Mall into a modern urban park. In 2018, the trust continued work on the George Mason Memorial restoration project and completed most of the features of phase I of Constitution Gardens project, including the restoration and relocation of the lockkeeper's house. Preliminary planning began on the U.S. Park Police horse stables restoration project and the Tidal Basin Ideas Lab.
