About
Above & Beyond is an inter-denominational missions ministry that motivates short-term missionaries to start their missionary journey first by serving in ones own community. Through the SERVE LOCAL GO GLOBAL program, non-profits gain volunteers, short-term missionaries earn funding, global ministries are strengthened, and Christ is made known. At the end of 2018 we have assisted 885 missionaries from 256 sending organizations. Through our Serve Local Go Global program they have volunteered 13,275 hours at 327 local non-profits. Our investment plan positions us to be a self-sustaining organization if there is an economic downturn. No donated funds to Above & Beyond are used for our Executive Directors compensation. Compensation is covered by a separate ministry entity.
