Brukner Nature Center is a privately funded nonprofit nature preserve dedicated to wildlife conservation through environmental education. In 2019 over 134,000 people visited Brukner Nature Center to enjoy a hike in the woods, a visit with our wildlife ambassadors or attend an event. We touched over 23,200 people through our innovative educational programming, both during on-site visits and outreach events. We accepted 1,800 wild animals into our wildlife rehabilitation unit from 26 Ohio counties and successfully released over 35% of them back into the wild.
