DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2019 THE HOSPITAL PROVIDED 44,882 INPATIENT CARE DAYS, 215,262 HOURS OF OBSERVATION CARE, 11,771 SURGICAL CASES, 75,363 PHYSICAL THERAPY PROCEDURES, 35,203 EMERGENCY VISITS, 760 DELIVERIES, 70,496 CHEMOTHERAPY TREATMENTS, 26,496 RADIATION TREATMENTS, 13,565 WOUND CARE VISITS, 1,112 CARDIAC CATHERIZATIONS AND 195,784 IMAGING PROCEDURES. MARIETTA MEMORIAL BELIEVES IN MORE THAN PROVIDING THE BEST LOCAL HEALTHCARE. WE BELIEVE IN INVESTING IN OUR COMMUNITY, SUPPORTING OUR NEIGHBORS, OUR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS. ADDITIONALLY, MANY OF OUR STAFF MEMBERS, PHYSICIANS AND VOLUNTEERS DONATE THEIR TIME TO SERVE ON LOCAL BOARDS, COMMITTEES, AND ASSOCIATIONS. WE PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR LOCAL STUDENTS TO TRAIN WITHIN OUR HOSPITAL UNDER VARIOUS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND AGREEMENTS WITH AREA SCHOOL SYSTEMS. THIS SERVES BOTH THE STUDENTS AND THE COMMUNITY AS IT OFTEN INCREASES OUR SUPPLY OF LOCAL HEALTH CARE WORKERS.
