Charity Newsies has been serving the Greater Columbus and Franklin County area since 1907, providing all new clothing to needy school children so that no child is deprived of the opportunity to go to school for lack of adequate clothing. Charity Newsies is funded entirely through private donations. Charity Newsies receives no governmental funding and is not affiliated with any other charitable organization. Newsie members conduct all fundraising. No paid solicitors or telemarketers are used. All donations received from the public go 100% to clothe children. Members dues, designated events and a designated portion of endowment income cover administrative expenses.
