Priority Health Choice, Inc. has a contract with the state of Michigan to offer health care coverage to Medicaid recipients within the state of Michigan. Medicaid managed care has been in existence since the late 1990's and has demonstrated significant cost savings along with better health outcomes for their members. Priority Health Choice, Inc. provides more than 125,000 lower income and/or disabled residents in 20 Michigan counties with access to quality and affordable health care services. It promotes and incentivizes open access to providers. Priority Health Choice, Inc. received a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The rating was based on clinical quality, member satisfaction and NCQA accreditation survey results which were conducted on more than 1,000 health insurance plans. (Continued on Schedule O)
