Rising Sun Montessori School (RSMS) began operation as a public charter school in August 2014. During 2017-18, RSMS served roughly 108 students in grades 1-7. With a foundation in the Montessori method, RSMS offers traditional subject areas of math, science, English, social studies, and art, in line with the common core state standards. The vision of RSMS is to implement an effective educational program that will sustain the mission for continued generations of RSMS students and families.
