1. Teacher Workshops. BAFEF produces workshops for high school economics teachers. The workshops are provided free of charge, and a stipend is given to each teacher who attends. Teachers receive instruction from university professors and industry professionals on topics including personal finance, microeconomics, macroeconomics and the fiscal impact of public policy. Each workshop has a direct expense budget of $10,000 which includes space rent, printing & materials, supplies, A/V expenses, food & beverage, teacher stipends, speaker fees and staff time.
