The primary mission of the corporation is to accelerate women's advancement as workplace and community leaders.

HHW accelerates women's advancement as workplace and community leaders. We connect and encourage women to pursue fulfilling, family-sustaining careers with the involvement of trained volunteers who serve as role model speakers, as well as industry and community champions. HHW Ohio volunteers lead information sessions, career day activities, and hands-on workshops. HHW Ohio partners with industry and community based organizations to offer women in sustainable employment, or wise pathways, a career exploration course that explores high demand, good-paying careers jobs in energy, manufacturing, advanced industries, and other skilled careers. Women have the opportunity to: ' Learn about career paths in high demand industries ' Assess and strengthen work readiness skills ' Gain strategic knowledge for workplace success including team building and conflict management - Create a resume, practice online applications and interviewing - and connect with recruiters from participating companies ' Build a network of support for career success
