The mission of the CASA/GAL Program of Summit County is to serve the best interests of abused and neglected children in the Juvenile Court System. CASA/GAL volunteers provide quality advocacy for children so that every child can be safe, have a permanent home and the opportunity to thrive.

The CASA Board Volunteer Association aims to provide every child who enters the court system as a result of allegations of abuse, neglect or dependency, with a trained community volunteer to advocate for what is in the child's best interest.

The vision of the CASA/GAL Program of Summit County is to provide advocacy, consistency, and quicker routes to successful permanency for all children who have entered juvenile court as a result of abuse or neglect. The CASA/GAL Program of Summit County is committed to the highest quality of advocacy through trained Court Appointed Special Advocates.
