OIS interviewers conducted 535 child victim interviews for different law enforcement agencies and the Department of Human Services. Out of the 535 interviews, 219 were conducted in the forensic interviewing mobile unit facility which traveled 24,217 miles to conduct those interviews. The mobile unit was also toured multiple times, OIS staff participated in case staffings, attended and conducted peer reviews and attended regular meetings. The bilingual forensic interviewer interpreted for other agencies several times. OIS interviewers provided supervision to other forensic interviewers, provided case consultations and referrals throughout the state of Oklahoma. They were also involved in court several times. OIS forensic interviewers trained 1219 investigators involved in child abuse cases and professionals and community members about recognizing and reporting. 20 volunteers assisted OIS throughout the year.
