CMDA's Global Health Outreach ministry (GHO) coordinated 48 short-term medical, dental, and surgical mission trips to developing countries this year, with approximately 961 qualified volunteers seeing 61,985 patients. GHO combines evangelistic outreach with desperately needed healthcare to demonstrate the love and compassion of Christ in a material way. National doctors in needy countries are also invited to join our teams and learn new techniques/information as our physicians, nurses, dentists, and other medical personnel share their knowledge and faith.CMDA's Medical Education International program (MEI) is a short-term missions program that sends teams to teach in international academic or clinical settings to bring transformation by advancing medical, dental, bioethical, and educational knowledge while sharing the Gospel. MEI accomplished this goal this year through the services of 162 volunteers on 32 teams that travelled to 14 countries.
