Mission
It is the mission of the North Suburban YMCA to provide individuals in Northbrook and the surrounding areas with programs and tools that will help them become healthier, more connected and confident. We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our community and each other. Every day, we work side-by-side with you, our neighbors, throughout 15 surrounding communities to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. About
Year round camping activities are a hallmark of YMCA programming providing youth with a meaningful experience under the guidance of trained professionals in a positive group setting has profound impact on the healthy development of children and their families. The YMCA offers dozens of day camp and specialty programs throughout the year. The YMCA provided over $89,729 in scholarship and financial aid to more than 178 program participants.
