About

The Robert Crown Center for Health Education (RCC) is the largest provider of primary prevention health education for school-age children in Chicagoland. Originally founded as the Hinsdale Health Museum in 1958, the organization was renamed the Robert Crown Center for Health Education in 1974. RCC has been a leader and innovator in the health education field and has educated over six million students. We provide innovative health education and skill building programs for students in grades 4-8 through the combination of educator led programming and online delivery via our learning management system. Our programs address the following topics: puberty, human reproduction, teen sexual health, pregnancy and sexually transmitted infection prevention, social emotional health and drug education. We also have interactive software and graphic novels for teachers to teach drug prevention in their schools. RCC provides parent and community programs so trusted adults can stay informed and learn best practices to help reduce the chance that their child will engage in risky behaviors. RCC delivers programs to over 630 schools in the metro Chicago area and serves more than 78,000 students each year.
