As a part of our out of school program for youth 18-24, YJC receives funding from the Chicago-Cook Workforce Partnership (WIOA). This program helps job seekers who face significant barriers gain the support, skills and education necessary to obtain and retain employment. Qualified candidates may receive up to two years of funding to receive training, attend approval colleges and technical programs or enter jobs with ongoing support. This program provides subsidized internships and work experiences with employer partners through its career pathways program.
