CASE COORDINATION PROGRAM - CHICAGOCAC COORDINATED 2,741 MULTIDISCIPLINARY INVESTIGATIONS INTO REPORTS OF CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE, PHYSICAL ABUSE, trafficking, witness to violence, and risk of harm cases. 2,168 FORENSIC INTERVIEWS WERE PERFORMED. INVESTIGATIONS OFTEN REQUIRE CHILDREN TO BE INTERVIEWED ABOUT THE INCIDENT OF ABUSE AND SOMETIMES CHILDREN RECEIVE A FORENSIC MEDICAL EXAM. CASE COORDINATORS CONTACT PARENTS TO SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS FOR THESE EVENTS AND SPEAK WITH EACH FAMILY ABOUT HISTORIES OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, MEDICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS, AND NEEDS RELATED TO LANGUAGE AND DISABILITIES.
