Grassroots Collaborative works on a range of campaigns at the state level, in Chicago, and Peoria. The Organization focuses on deep political education and leadership development of grassroots leaders of our member organizations, as well as key ally organizations. We ran leadership academies in Chicago and Peoria, on racial and economic justice. The Organization's main campaigns in 2018 included: the Fair Tax campaign, Peoria Public Schools TIF campaign, and Reimagine Chicago, which focused on raising progressive revenue to fund the services and schools we need at the local and state level.
